Microsoft has introduced a novel service known as Windows 365 Reserve, tailored to address scenarios where a user's primary computer malfunctions. Should a user's physical device become unusable due to disruptions, malware, update errors, or any other unforeseen circumstances, this service swiftly provides a pre-configured temporary cloud PC to ensure seamless workflow continuity. These cloud PCs come fully equipped with Microsoft 365 applications and the user's chosen security policies, facilitating data synchronization through OneDrive. Windows 365 Reserve grants users access to 10 days of cloud PC usage annually, which can be utilized in a single session or spread across multiple occasions. The service aims to promptly meet users' urgent needs by providing instant access to a backup cloud PC when their primary devices fail.
