Recently, the A-share market has maintained its vibrancy, characterized by dynamic capital flows within leading broad-based ETFs. Notably, ETFs with concentrated shareholdings have exhibited significant changes in their holdings of heavily weighted stocks. On July 11, ChinaAMC SSE STAR Market 50 ETF augmented its holdings in SMIC by 399,200 shares. However, just three weeks later, on August 1, the ETF reduced its stake in SMIC by 651,800 shares. According to Wind data, between July 12 and August 1, ChinaAMC SSE STAR Market 50 ETF appreciated by 4.20%, accompanied by a net capital outflow exceeding 3.1 billion yuan. Both the magnitude of the increase and the scale of the net outflow ranked prominently among broad-based ETFs.
