Notably, CATL's subsidiary, Yichun Times New Energy Mining Co., Ltd., is among these enterprises. Holding the mining rights to the Jianxiawo lithium-bearing mining area, which are set to expire on August 9, 2025, the company's significant production capacity has garnered significant attention regarding any potential halt in operations. According to local villagers in Huxi, the mining area ceased operations last night, a stark departure from the previously illuminated nights and active mining scenes.
