Intel is set to introduce a new addition to its Battlemage series of graphics cards. Recent updates to the Linux kernel driver and Mesa graphics driver suggest that this upcoming card bears a PCI ID of 0xE209 and is rumored to be named the Intel Arc B380. Speculation suggests that the B380 is a consumer-oriented version of the Intel Arc B50 PRO, designed to replace the current Arc A380 graphics card. If it indeed adopts the specifications of the B50 PRO, the B380 will come equipped with 16 Xe2 cores, promising a performance boost that significantly surpasses the Arc A380 and nearly matches that of the Arc B570 within the Battlemage series. Positioned as an entry-level gaming graphics card, the B380 is expected to retail below $150, making it a compelling option in the market.
