Shunwei Microelectronics has officially signed a contract to establish its Jiangjin Semiconductor Project, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, in Chongqing Hub Port Industrial Park. Phase one of the project is set to invest 200 million yuan, with the ambition of constructing a premier storage chip testing and module manufacturing hub in the western region.
