Leveraging Amazon's Kuiper Project low Earth orbit satellite technology, this initiative aims to bridge the digital divide in these underserved areas. The Kuiper Project, Amazon's ambitious satellite broadband service, is designed to provide fast and dependable internet connections to users across the globe, with services anticipated to commence in Australia by mid-2026.

By this time, NBN will offer wholesale residential satellite broadband services to over 300,000 premises that are currently serviced by satellite through partnering retail service providers. This collaboration underscores both companies' commitment to expanding broadband access and enhancing connectivity for Australians living in remote locations.
