A collaborative team led by Liu Junqiu from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) has achieved a groundbreaking advancement in integrated optics. They have successfully developed a novel vector spectrum analyzer specifically designed for the visible light band. This sophisticated instrument boasts high precision, broad bandwidth, and vectorization capabilities, enabling the accurate measurement of the spectrum of integrated optical devices within the visible light spectrum. This innovation addresses a significant gap in the field. The research findings have been published in Nature Communications under the title "A Hyperfine-Transition-Referenced Vector Spectrum Analyzer for Visible-Light Integrated Photonics".
