On July 25, the three major A-share indices closed collectively in the red. The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.33% to end at 3,593.66 points, while the Shenzhen Component Index declined 0.22% to close at 11,168.14 points. The ChiNext Index also dipped, down 0.23% to finish at 2,340.06 points. Within the market, the semiconductor sector witnessed a significant surge, with Cambrian Innovation jumping over 12%, and Synaptics and iFLYTEK advancing more than 4%. AI applications and the cultural media sector performed notably well, with Insigma Group and Xinhua Media reaching their daily upper limits, and HT Rainbow surging over 8%. Conversely, stocks related to the Yajiang hydropower station concept adjusted downwards, with China Waterborne Planning and Design Institute and Huaxin Cement hitting their daily lower limits, and Dongfang Electric declining more than 9%.
