In the Chinese market, over a dozen small specialized companies have emerged, specializing in the repair of high-end chips such as NVIDIA's H100 and A100. Due to the US government's sales ban, these chips are challenging to import through official channels but still manage to enter the country via unconventional routes. Notably, in September 2022, the US government added both the upcoming H100 and the already released A100 to the list of banned exports to China. This sales restriction has sparked a significant increase in the demand for repairing these high-end chips, thereby fueling the growth of related repair enterprises.
