On Thursday, Elon Musk's satellite internet service, Starlink, encountered a network outage, with subsequent updates confirming that the issue was in the process of being resolved. According to the incident tracking website Downdetector, over 60,000 reports were logged concerning this outage. Starlink Vice President Michael Nichols revealed that the network disruption lasted approximately 2.5 hours, attributed to a failure in a crucial internal software service. The system has since been largely restored.
