A-share Markets Open Mixed; Real Estate Stocks Lead Gains

On July 22, China's A-share market exhibited a mixed opening across its three major indices. The Shanghai Composite Index commenced trading with a modest gain of 0.05%, whereas the Shenzhen Component Index and the ChiNext Index slipped slightly, opening 0.03% and 0.07% lower, respectively. Within sector-specific performance, notable gains were observed in power generation equipment, real estate, and precious metals. Among these sectors, Dongfang Electric and Tibet Urban Construction Investment Group Co., Ltd. saw their shares surge to the daily limit, with 5i5j.com Inc. advancing over 4%, and Shengda Resources climbing more than 3%. In contrast, the internet, pharmaceuticals, culture, and media sectors experienced notable declines. Qingyun Technology and Guangshengtang Pharmaceutical each fell by more than 2%, while Leo Share dipped by over 1%.
