NVIDIA made a significant announcement at the RISC-V China Summit, revealing that its CUDA software will now support RISC-V processors. This strategic move underscores the growing demand for RISC-V architecture in the datacenter market. Until now, CUDA has primarily catered to x86_64 and AArch64 systems. Notably, NVIDIA's competitor AMD has already embraced RISC-V with its AMDKFD and ROCm platforms, extending support even to Loongson's LoongArch processors.
