NXP Semiconductors reported second-quarter revenue of $2.93 billion, surpassing analysts' expectations. Adjusted earnings per share (EPS) stood at $2.72, also slightly above projections. Nonetheless, the company's adjusted free cash flow fell short of anticipations. Looking ahead, NXP forecasts that third-quarter revenue, EPS, and gross margin will be marginally lower or in line with analysts' estimates. Reacting to this news, NXP's shares in the U.S. market declined by 4.50% in after-hours trading.
