Microsoft is currently testing an enhanced backup and migration feature within Windows 11, designed to streamline the process of transferring data from an old PC to a new one. This is achieved by facilitating the creation of a network connection via a local area network or Wi-Fi. Furthermore, the latest beta iteration of the Windows Backup application now includes a "Transfer files to a new PC" feature, enabling the wireless transfer of files, applications, settings, and login credentials. For the transfer to commence, both devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and share a session password.
