On July 18th, BHP unveiled its FY2025 operational review, showcasing record-breaking achievements in both iron ore and copper production. The Western Australian Iron Ore business established several benchmarks, including an all-time high in annual production, while copper output surpassed the 2 million tonne mark. Notably, the Escondida copper mine in Chile attained its highest production levels in 17 years, and the Spence copper mine also reached an unprecedented peak.
