On July 17, the three major U.S. stock indexes closed on a positive note. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.52%, the Nasdaq Composite advanced 0.75% to set a new closing high, and the S&P 500 climbed 0.54%. Among the prominent tech stocks, Arm's share price surged over 2%, while Netflix and Microsoft both saw increases of more than 1%. Nvidia's share price rose nearly 1%, pushing its market cap above the $4.2 trillion mark. Google and Amazon also posted modest gains. However, Tesla, Meta, and Apple saw slight declines in their share prices. In the realm of popular Chinese concept stocks, the majority ended the day in the green. NIO's share price soared over 7%, Li Auto gained more than 6%, JD.com climbed over 3%, and Pinduoduo increased by more than 2%. Alibaba, Baidu, iQIYI, and Bilibili all recorded gains of over 1%. Only Weibo's share price dipped slightly.
