ASML, a prominent player in the lithography industry, has unveiled its financial performance for the second quarter of 2025. The company reported net sales of €7.692 billion, marking a modest 0.646% decrease from the previous quarter but showcasing a robust 23.21% increase year-over-year. Net profit amounted to €2.290 billion, experiencing a slight 2.76% decline quarter-over-quarter. During this quarter, ASML sold a total of 67 new lithography machines and 9 used devices, witnessing a notable surge in order bookings from €3.936 billion to €5.541 billion. ASML's CEO emphasized that the company's gross margin stood at 53.7%, surpassing expectations, primarily fueled by the robust performance of its upgrade business and effective cost management strategies. Furthermore, ASML achieved a significant milestone with the successful delivery of its inaugural TWINSCAN EXE:5200B system, the second-generation High NA EUV lithography machine. Looking ahead, ASML anticipates a 15% growth in sales for the full year 2025, with gross margins stabilizing around 52%.
