In the first half of the year, Beijing's high-end manufacturing sector exhibited remarkable resilience and growth. Among enterprises above a certain size, the added value of strategic emerging industries jumped by 16.8%, while high-tech manufacturing recorded a 9.9% increase. Notably, production of new energy vehicles, medical equipment, and integrated circuits witnessed significant surges. Furthermore, the industrial added value for enterprises above a certain size climbed 7.0% year-on-year, with the computer, communications, and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry thriving at a rate of 24.6%, and the automotive manufacturing industry expanding by 16.7%. Investment in high-tech industries surged by an impressive 72.9%. Specifically, investment in the information transmission, software, and information technology services industry multiplied 1.6 times, the automotive manufacturing industry increased by 41.7%, and investment in the computer, communications, and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries grew by 9.4%. Despite this robust growth, consumer prices and producer prices for industrial products declined by 0.3% and 1.8%, respectively.
