As reported by Taiwan's Commercial Times, the traditional peak season for electronics is fast approaching in the latter half of 2025, and the market price of NAND Flash is already on a steady ascent. The latest industry projections assert that NAND Flash prices will undeniably climb in the third quarter, with products below 512Gb anticipated to surge by more than 15%, while those of higher capacities exceeding 1Tb are expected to increase within the range of 5% to 10%. Manufacturers attribute this price hike primarily to the ongoing production curtailment strategies adopted by manufacturers since the second half of 2024. Key players such as Micron and SanDisk have substantially reduced their NAND wafer shipments, causing a rapid supply crunch and a consequent notable uptick in market prices.
