On July 15, industry insiders revealed that during the first half of this year, mainstream domestic chip manufacturers experienced tight capacity, with orders at companies like Kunlun AI Chip and Cambricon Technology reaching full capacity. During this period, domestic GPU manufacturers were vigorously competing for market share, particularly in the realm of H20 products. A domestic chip manufacturer's founder noted that to compete with NVIDIA, domestic manufacturers are focusing on several strategic product directions: Firstly, emphasizing the adaptability of inference chips and models; secondly, enhancing the video memory of inference cards to alleviate communication pressure and support larger models; thirdly, accelerating data transfer speeds to reduce memory dependency; and fourthly, showcasing the energy efficiency ratio advantage of inference chips to outperform H20. Industry analysts stated that H20 faces numerous substitutes in the domestic market, with most domestic chips positioning themselves as primary competitors to H20 in terms of specifications and pricing.
