Wang Lingjun, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Customs, announced that China's imports and exports have surpassed the 10 trillion yuan mark for nine consecutive quarters. During the first half of this year, the total import and export volume saw an increase of over 600 billion yuan compared to the same period last year. Notably, in June, both imports and exports, as well as export-to-import ratios, achieved positive year-on-year growth, with the growth rate consistently on the rise. In particular, the total import and export volume for June amounted to 3.85 trillion yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 5.2%, the second-highest monthly figure recorded in history. Specifically, exports totaled 2.34 trillion yuan, up 7.2% year-on-year, with a notable surge in the export of electronic components and ships. Imports, on the other hand, reached 1.51 trillion yuan, a 2.3% year-on-year increase, driven by rapid growth in the import of automatic data processing equipment parts and accessories, as well as dried and fresh fruits and vegetables.
