The cumulative electricity generation of China National Offshore Oil Corporation's (CNOOC) first domestically produced LNG cold energy power generation unit at its Ningbo "Green Energy Port" has exceeded 11 million kWh. Concurrently, this achievement has reduced carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 6,160 tons, equivalent to planting 341,000 trees. Utilizing a low-temperature Rankine cycle process, this unit harnesses the cold energy released during LNG gasification to generate electricity, boasting an annual design capacity of 23 million kWh. This initiative not only underscores remarkable strides in energy conservation and carbon reduction but also marks a significant advancement in China's core technological equipment for LNG cold energy power generation.
