On July 9, the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology collaboratively issued the "Action Plan for Metrology Supporting the Development of New Productive Forces in the Industry (2025-2030)." This comprehensive plan targets pivotal information sectors, including new-generation displays, communications, and chips, with the objective of addressing the metrological and testing requirements for future advancements in information technology, such as chip research and development, high-precision time and frequency services, and the evaluation of innovative display products. The plan outlines strategies to bolster the establishment of a metrology evaluation platform tailored for new-generation information and communication technologies, investigate pivotal performance testing techniques for emerging display products, and develop a suite of domestically pioneering metrology standards within the information domain. This endeavor aims to elevate the metrological and testing capabilities in the information technology sector and facilitate the demonstration of applications in representative fields.
