With an uptime of up to 99.9999%, these systems promise zero planned downtime. The Power11 processor comes equipped with built-in security features that swiftly detect ransomware threats, ensuring robust protection. Additionally, Power11 marks the debut of the Spyre AI inference accelerator on a Power server. Compared to Power9, it offers a remarkable 55% improvement in core performance. When compared to Power10, Power11 boasts an increased number of cores and a 45% capacity enhancement for entry-level and mid-range systems. Power11 is scheduled for global availability on July 25, 2025.
