The research team, led by Academician Xia Jianbai at the National Key Laboratory of Semiconductor Chip Physics and Technology within the Institute of Semiconductors at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and comprising key members such as Wei Zhongming and Zhou Ziqi, has been at the forefront of polarized light detection in low-dimensional and low-symmetry semiconductors for numerous years. Recently, the team has accomplished a series of significant advancements in the theoretical design, material synthesis, and device performance of novel low-dimensional semiconductors.
