According to a report by the renowned analyst firm Omdia, BOE has achieved a significant milestone this year in Apple's supply chain. The company is anticipated to supply 51% of the LCD panels for Apple's MacBook product line, overtaking LG Display, which has traditionally held this dominant position. This transition marks BOE as the largest panel supplier for Apple's MacBook series. This shift is attributed to Apple redirecting a substantial portion of MacBook Air display orders to BOE, coupled with the current weak market demand for MacBook Pro. Consequently, Omdia forecasts that LG Display's share of panel supply for Apple's MacBook will diminish to 35%. BOE has ambitious plans to furnish Apple with 11.5 million laptop panels by 2025, signifying substantial year-over-year growth.
