At the 6G Technology Innovation and Industrial Development Summit, the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA) proudly announced the initiation of the "6G SPACES New Quality Ecological Community." This ambitious project aims to establish BDA as a globally preeminent hub for 6G innovation and development. The community will concentrate on technology advancements, pilot testing services, and scenario expansion, fostering a robust industrial ecosystem and enacting tailored policies to bolster the evolution of 6G technology and key components of the industry chain. By 2030, it is anticipated that this community will nurture over 100 high-caliber enterprises, achieve breakthroughs in 50 core technologies, and establish a 6G industry worth 50 billion yuan. Furthermore, Yizhuang will implement a funding support system to expedite pivotal technological advancements and the deployment of application scenarios. During the summit, the collaboration with industrial partners of the Beijing 6G Laboratory was officially inaugurated, signaling a fresh era of collaborative innovation in Beijing's 6G technology research and development endeavors. Additionally, the first phase of the ZTE Northern Headquarters and Tongming Lake Information City project has commenced operations, drawing numerous enterprises in the future industries sector to establish their bases here.
