Hubei Province has embarked on an ambitious plan to propel the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The strategy is tailored to cater to the diverse needs of enterprises, emphasizing lightweight transformations for micro-enterprises, comprehensive transformations for larger enterprises, and integrated upgrades for specialized, sophisticated, and innovative players. To tackle the challenges of funding, talent acquisition, and technological integration, the government will offer financial incentives and support. By 2027, the objective is to facilitate the digital transformation of over 10,000 SMEs, establish more than 50 smart factories, ensure cloud adoption by over half of SMEs, and achieve a 75% digitization rate for key business processes.
