Recently, Romass and Anker issued a recall for their power banks due to alterations in battery cell raw materials, which could potentially lead to combustion in extreme circumstances. Notably, Amprius is one of the suppliers of battery cells to these two companies. On June 23, the State Administration for Market Regulation's platform revealed that over 70 3C certification certificates held by Amprius Wuxi have been suspended. These suspensions cover quality management system certification (ISO9001) and CCC information technology equipment categories, impacting their primary products: rechargeable polymer lithium-ion batteries and lithium-ion batteries.
