Sichuan Province has recently unveiled the "Implementation Plan for Promoting Emerging Industries and Accelerating the Cultivation of Future Industries (2025-2027)", aiming to foster a robust chain-cluster development paradigm across the province by 2027. The ambitious plan envisions nurturing over 30 nationally prominent enterprises, establishing five industrial clusters worth over 100 billion yuan each, and ten clusters valued at over 50 billion yuan each. Additionally, it anticipates innovative breakthroughs in future industries, with the cultivation of more than 10 high-growth innovative enterprises and the unveiling of numerous groundbreaking innovations and iconic products. The plan emphasizes the development of 15 key emerging industries, including artificial intelligence, robotics, integrated circuits, and hydrogen energy, alongside eight promising future industries such as 6G, quantum technology, and the metaverse. It underscores the importance of fostering the entire industrial chain and achieving breakthroughs in core technologies. Moreover, the plan outlines five pivotal tasks aimed at establishing a seamless link from technological innovation to industrial application, thereby deepening the integration of economy and technology in Sichuan.
