On July 3, trading concluded with all three major U.S. stock indexes reaching new closing peaks. The S&P 500 index advanced 0.83%, the Nasdaq Composite index gained 1.02%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.77%. Technology stocks generally shone brightly, with NVIDIA's share price climbing 1.3% and its market capitalization briefly surpassing the $3.9 trillion threshold. Amazon and Microsoft also posted gains of over 1%, while technology heavyweights such as Apple and Google recorded modest increases. Tesla, on the other hand, witnessed a slight decline. Among popular Chinese stocks traded in the U.S., performances were mixed. Zhihu surged more than 6%, with XPeng Motors and iQIYI also rising. Conversely, Alibaba and JD.com experienced declines.
