Synopsys Announces US Revocation of Export Restrictions Against China

On July 2, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) at the US Department of Commerce informed Synopsys, a prominent Electronic Design Automation (EDA) firm, that previous export restrictions imposed on China have been immediately revoked. In response, Synopsys is resuming sales of previously restricted products in the Chinese market and is currently evaluating the associated impacts. Additionally, several Chinese semiconductor companies have also confirmed receiving similar notifications regarding the lifting of these export restrictions.
