On July 2, the inaugural meeting of the IoT Standardization Technical Committee under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology took place in Beijing. Chief Engineer Xie Shaofeng of the Ministry attended the event and delivered a keynote address. Chairman Yin Hao presented the main report, while relevant officials from the Department of Science and Technology read out the official announcement of the committee's establishment. The IoT Standardization Committee is tasked with revising and formulating standards in domains encompassing IoT industry applications and key technologies. Its mission is to propel the development and adoption of IoT technical standards, thereby bolstering the industry's international competitiveness.
