Longi Green Energy aims to significantly boost its production capacity for both HPBC2.0 batteries and modules, with a target of exceeding 50GW by the close of 2025. During the Shanghai SNEC exhibition, the company showcased its groundbreaking HIBC technology and associated products, featuring module power surpassing 700W and mass production efficiency soaring to 25.9%. The company further announced that HIBC batteries are now poised for mass-scale production. Regarding perovskite tandem batteries, Longi Green Energy acknowledged their impressive conversion efficiency but noted that commercialization remains a challenge due to stability issues. As such, the company currently does not have plans for mass production of these batteries.
