These flaws could potentially be weaponized by hackers to eavesdrop on conversations, access sensitive information, or hijack Bluetooth connections. Among the products affected are speakers, headphones, earbuds, and wireless microphones from renowned brands such as Beyerdynamic, Bose, and Sony. Nevertheless, it is crucial to emphasize that launching such attacks requires a high degree of technical proficiency and necessitates being within the Bluetooth communication range. In response, the chip manufacturer has already issued a patched SDK, and concerned device manufacturers are diligently working on deploying updates to mitigate these security risks.
