July's pre-arranged production data for the lithium battery industry chain reveals a 1.9% month-on-month increase in battery production. Similarly, the output of anodes, separators, and electrolytes also exhibited an upward trend. Conversely, cathode production saw a minor decline of 0.4%. This positive growth is largely attributed to the enhanced electrification penetration rate of domestic commercial vehicles and the surge in energy storage exports following the reduction of US tariffs. Looking ahead, with the continuous introduction of new models and technologies, coupled with the robust expansion of the energy storage market in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, leading battery manufacturers are anticipated to boost their capacity utilization, thereby achieving growth in both volume and profits.
