GCL New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Saudi International Electric Power and Water Company have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement in Suzhou, facilitated by their joint venture in China, Saudi Electricity Investment (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. Saudi Electricity Investment aims to achieve substantial growth in China's new energy, seawater desalination, and green hydrogen sectors by the year 2030. GCL New Energy specializes in the investment, development, and operation of clean energy, encompassing wind power, photovoltaic, and other related fields. By the close of 2024, the company had successfully connected a total installed capacity of 5871.01MW to the grid. Building on the momentum of their initial cooperation, both parties are poised to deepen their collaboration across multiple domains and explore broader cooperation opportunities.
