Executives from both Mandiant, Google's dedicated cybersecurity arm, and Unit 42, the security research division of Palo Alto Networks, have affirmed that they have witnessed cyberattacks specifically targeting the aviation sector. These attacks employ tactics strikingly similar to those previously observed in "Scattered Spider" incidents.
