On June 27, Huahai Qingke unveiled its initiative to establish a wafer recycling and production capacity expansion project in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. The project envisages a total expanded capacity of 400,000 units per month, with the first phase targeting 200,000 units per month at an investment ceiling of 500 million yuan. The project aims to capitalize on the current window of opportunity for fab expansion, consolidate early-mover advantages and scale effects, and bolster its market share in wafer recycling services.
