On June 25, the Iranian Parliament enacted legislation to temporarily halt cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), pending authorization from the Supreme National Security Council. This decision follows a series of recent attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, which the IAEA failed to publicly condemn. The newly passed bill bars IAEA personnel from conducting inspections within Iran unless the security of Iran's nuclear installations and its right to the peaceful utilization of nuclear energy are assured. The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament emphasized that Iran will now accelerate its peaceful nuclear program at an even faster pace.
