From January to May, the industrial added value of enterprises exceeding a designated size in Hunan Province surged by 8.1% compared to the same period last year. Notably, the equipment manufacturing sector witnessed remarkable growth, soaring by 12.9%. Within this sector, the metal products industry led the pack with a rapid growth rate of 23.6%. Additionally, the electronic information manufacturing industry and the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry recorded substantial growth rates of 16.2% and 14.4%, respectively.
