The Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai 2025 kicked off on June 20th, spotlighting the diverse applications of 5G-Advanced (5G-A) technology. This advanced technology boasts a remarkable capability to slash data transmission latency to just 20 milliseconds, enabling ultra-low-latency and highly dependable networks that catalyze human-machine collaboration applications. Notably, China Mobile and China Telecom have already rolled out 5G-A networks across multiple cities, with associated applications swiftly integrating into various economic and social sectors. By the close of 2025, it is anticipated that more than 100 mobile phones and terminals will be compatible with 5G-A technology.
