ASE Technology Holding announced on the 19th that the board of directors of its subsidiary, ASE Semiconductor, had approved the acquisition of automatic optical inspection (AOI) and automatic visual inspection (AVI) equipment from Motech Technology. This move aims to meet the anticipated demand for future capacity expansion. Following a year-long negotiation process, the total pre-tax transaction amount amounted to NT$371 million. This procurement is expected to significantly bolster ASE Semiconductor's production capabilities.
