Circle made its debut on the US stock market on June 5 with a closing market capitalization exceeding $33.6 billion. As the issuer of USDC, the world's second-largest crypto stablecoin, USDC boasts a market capitalization of $61.6 billion. Jeremy Allaire, Circle's co-founder and CEO, recently forecasted that stablecoins are on the brink of an epochal shift akin to the iPhone's debut, where global developers will fully embrace the potential and prospects of programmable digital dollars.
