NVIDIA's flagship graphics card, the RTX 5090, has undergone a notable price adjustment, marking a significant milestone with its selling price dipping below 400,000 yen (roughly equivalent to RMB 19,836) in the Japanese market for the first time. Previously, this high-end GPU commanded a premium in Japan, with prices hovering around a minimum of 450,000 yen, and some models even surpassing the 600,000 yen mark. The current price reduction primarily affects two customized versions from ZOTAC and GAINWARD, with prices being adjusted from 440,000 yen to 398,000 yen. While prices in North America and Europe have also experienced a decline, they generally remain in the vicinity of $3,000, substantially exceeding the official suggested retail price of $1,999. Industry experts recommend that consumers remain patient, anticipating further price reductions in the near future.
