In a groundbreaking collaboration, Guangdong Mobile and Huawei have launched the nation's first 5G-Advanced (5G-A) dedicated high-speed railway acceleration service. This innovative service boasts coverage for 26 frequently used applications and delivers a remarkable downlink rate of up to 3Gbps, even at speeds of 300km/h. The Guangzhou-Shenzhen segment of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link, which accommodates an annual passenger flow of 20 million, serves as the inaugural platform for this advanced service. Passengers can effortlessly subscribe to the "High-Speed Rail Acceleration Package" via the China Mobile App. Looking ahead, Guangdong Mobile aims to extend the application of 5G-A technology to additional scenarios, including subways and concerts.
