On June 14, news emerged that Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang had recently shared his insights on Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei's remarks concerning chip technology. Huang emphasized that while Nvidia's technology is a step ahead, the core challenge in artificial intelligence lies in parallelism, which can be mitigated by scaling up the number of computers to compensate for the limitations of a single machine. He noted that Ren Zhengfei highlighted China's abundant energy resources and capacity to utilize more chips, suggesting China's robust technological self-sufficiency. Huang further elaborated that if the United States were to withdraw from the Chinese market, Huawei is more than capable of catering to the demands of both the Chinese and global markets. Prior to this, on June 10, Ren Zhengfei had assured that through techniques such as stacking and clustering, Huawei can attain state-of-the-art computational results, alleviating concerns over the chip issue.
