Dongshan Precision's wholly-owned subsidiary, Hong Kong Chaoyi, intends to acquire 100% of Source Photonics for a maximum consideration of US$629 million, equivalent to approximately RMB 4.935 billion, and plans to subscribe for its convertible bonds worth no more than RMB 1 billion. The total investment is capped at RMB 5.935 billion. Upon the completion of the transaction, Source Photonics will become a fully-owned subsidiary of Dongshan Precision. Source Photonics, a prominent player in the optical communications sector, boasts a portfolio of products extensively utilized in pivotal areas including data centers and 5G communications.
