During his keynote address at GTC Paris, NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun emphasized that quantum computing stands at a pivotal juncture, forecasting that functional quantum computers could materialize within the next few years. To catalyze this evolution, NVIDIA has introduced CUDA-Q, an innovative quantum-classical hybrid supercomputing platform. CUDA-Q empowers both the simulation of quantum computing on classical systems and the enhancement of real quantum computers. Boasting impressive capabilities, CUDA-Q offers an 800-fold boost in the development speed of quantum algorithms and a remarkable 1,200-fold acceleration in the design of low-noise qubits. Furthermore, NVIDIA showcased the groundbreaking physical AI system and the humanoid robot Grek, highlighting its commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology. The company also announced strategic partnerships with industry leaders, including Schneider and Siemens, to collectively accelerate the adoption of industrial AI. Huang Renxun underscored the pivotal role that AI will play in sparking a new industrial revolution.
