NVIDIA has decided to exclude the Chinese market from its revenue and profit projections, citing stringent U.S. restrictions on chip exports to China. During an interview with CNN in Paris, NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang was queried about the possibility of the U.S. lifting export controls on China. In response, Huang expressed skepticism, stating that he was not optimistic but would be surprised if any changes occurred. He has subsequently informed investors and shareholders that future forecasts will no longer incorporate the Chinese market.
